16 Countries Israelis Cannot Visit

In the wake of last week’s terror attack in San Bernadino, California, there have been calls from the right in USA to restrict entry from Syrians and other troubled countries.
Many have already pointed out the recent precedent set by Democratic President Jimmy Carter, who during the crisis with Iran in the late 1970s, denied Iranians entry to the USA.

Interesting to note that today, according to Wikipedia, there are 16 countries that do not permit entry to Israelis. Other than one of the countries on this list, sadly Malaysia, the other fifteen are radical Muslim (caliphates) countries. I say “sadly” Malaysia, as this young technologically savvy Asian nation really has no interaction with Israel, other than the fact that Malaysia is a Muslim country. Indonesia, another Asian muslim country, does permit entry to Israelis, but not to their universities.

Boycott Israel Must See Video

Reggae music and boycotting Israel for human rights violations. Put them together, and you get this very catchy viral music video.

All you BDS supporters, watch this video and then let’s talk…

Have a look at human rights violations around the world, and then let’s get back and discuss Israel.

Alan Dershowitz Explains Why BDS is Bad – Prager University

Let’s educate America’s college students about what BDS really stands for.

We agree on the main point. Boycotting Israel is wrong.

The problem with this video is all the equivocation that Jewish liberals must constantly express to rationalize away their humanistic instincts.
Here, Harvard Law Professor, Allan Dershowitz, makes an impassioned and cerebral argument against the BDS – Boycott, Divest, and Sanctions movement against Israel.
However, throughout the video he defines his personal beliefs, which include two-state solution, easing of Palestinian suffering, etc…

Let us be clear that this boycott movement has nothing to do with a two state solution. It has everything to do with further distancing Israel as a Pariah State. Inasmuch as the movement to ban Israel from FIFA was not about Football (soccer), but also to the same goal of ostracizing the Jewish State.

We think that the video would have greater effect without hearing about the professor’s personal convictions. BDS is a rallying point for all Israelis and Jews around the world.
We needn’t inject our personal motivations or political agendas outside this singular point. Boycotting Israel will not help the Palestinians, and it will not be good for Israel.

BDS must be stopped.

Cracks in the BDS Boycott of Israel Starting to Appear

A big decision was handed down today by the Washington State Supreme Court in favor of a suit against the Olympia Co-Op Foods in that state.Olympia Foods had implemented a boycott back in 2011 on Israeli-made products.  Several of its board members had raised a lawsuit against the board to force removal of the boycott.  The trial court had ruled against the plaintiffs and assessed over $200,000 in fines.

In order to appeal that decision, the plaintiffs would need to post bond to assure that the fines could be paid in case the rulling was upheld.  Thanks to the support of StandWithIsrael, they were able to post a bond and continue with the appeal.

According to StandWithIsrael , the state Supreme Court ruled 9-0 in favor of the appeal motion to continue the suit against Olympia Food Co-Op.

Unfortunately, these types of motions will need to be brought in other parts of the country as well until the evil head of boycott and selective hate has been defeated.

Watch These Christians Tell Us Why They Love Hamas and Hate Israel

Irrational and exuberant hatred for Israel

Watch what happens at the CUFI (Christians United for Israel) 2015 pro-Israel conference in Rockville, MD.  Other Christians have a different take on things (and life, some would say).   A reporter asked the protesters what was their beef.  You’ll be shocked at most of the answers.

How many of these people every even met an Israeli, much less, a Hamas member, or someone living in Gaza?

Canada May Charge Hate Crime For Israel Boycotters

That Canada’s Prime Minister, Steven Harper, is a friend of Israel, few would have reason to disagree.
His steadfast support of the Jewish State has stood the test of time, even in the face of hostile and unambiguous support of Israel’s enemies by other members in the Canadian parliament.

The CBC reported recently that Ottawa is considering taking a concrete step in repelling the wave of Anti-Zionism that is spreading through Canada like a scourge.
It may soon be a crime to boycott Israel in Canada.  One wonders if that message could resonate in Washington as well…

Judge Goldstone Gets Smacked at UN Council

An Israeli doctor from Ashkelon confronts Judge Goldstone at a UN Council meeting with riveting testimony on how his report completely ignored the Israeli casualties and Arab terror that led up to the Gaza Incursion.

Goldstone’s one-sided anti-semitic report dedicates two pages out of a 500 HUNDRED page report to deal with the 8 year barrage of rocket attacks on Israeli towns by Gazan missiles.

Hopefully, with more testimonies like from this courageous woman will help bring out Dr. Goldstone for what he is, a traitor to the Jewish people, and a colossal anti-semite from the likes of the authors of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

French Anti-Zionist Party

File this in the “Just when you thought it couldn’t get worse” category:

French Anti-Zionist Political Party
French Anti-Zionist Political Party

France’s comedian Dieudonné M’bala M’bala has created a political party to run in the upcoming parliamentary elections.  The French high court threw out a petition to ban this party from running in the elections as a racist party.

Their platform essentially states the usually rhetoric that Israel, the USA, and the French (by implication) led by the ‘powerful Zionist lobby’ are an axis of evil bent on overturning the world.

Notice how they found the token bearded Jew for this campaign poster to assure voters that they are not ‘anti-semitic’.

People, wake up!  European ambivalence to Jews has already been shaken by change in demographics.  The not-so subtle shift of European anti-Israeli populist movements jumping to the forefround is a harbinger of things to come.

How much longer before America’s populist agenda, especially with the maverick Obamian policies, turns ambivalent, or even worse, against Israel?

Bosnian Anti-Semitism

Bosnia Jew seeks to reverse ban on running for president.  Today’s Haaretz reports http://haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1090694.html that under the Dayton peace agreement that ended Bosnia’s 1992-95 war, only Bosnian Serbs, Bosnian Muslims and Bosnian Croats may run for the office. That means a Jew, for example, who was born and has lived his entire life in Bosnia is not permitted to run the country.

(Fact: Bosnia is not a member of the EU.)

Hungarian Anti-Semitism

According to the Jewish Agency, Hungary today has a population of approximately 50,000 Jews. In 1910, one hundred years ago, there were nearly one million Jews living there. The Nazis killed many, some emigrated to America, some to Israel, and others assimilated during the Soviet regime.

Hungary has a total population of just over 9 million. So with Jews totalling 1/2 percent of the population, you wouldn’t figure for them to a major force in that country.  Therefore, I found it odd to see today’s headline in Haaretz:  “Proud Hungarians must prepare for war against the Jews.”

This is not a headline from some blogger world or an offbeat political commentator. This is a headline taken from Hungary’s leading Police union newspaper. Here’s another example:

After the recent resignation of prime minister Ferenc Gyurcsány, one of the candidates for the post was Gyorgy Suranyi, formerly the governor of the Hungarian Central Bank, a brilliant economist, and a Jew.

The center-right party Democratic Hungarian Forum published on the front page of its newsletter a picture of Suranyi’s face inside a yellow star of David (reminiscent of the yellow patch from the days of Fascism) with the following caption: “Suranyi is actually the candidate backed by the elderly [Israeli President] Shimon Peres.”

The frightening and chilling tones of pre-WWII Eastern Europe are rearing their ugly heads yet again.  This time, there are practically little Jews left there, and yet they still pipe the same headlines – “Given our current situation, anti-Semitism is not just our right, but it is the duty of every Hungarian homeland lover, and we must prepare for armed battle against the Jews.”

Jews of the diaspora today should pop open the history books and read what are the warning signs of anti-semitism so they can draw their own conclusions on appropriate action plans to keep their families safe from the ordeals our recent and past ancestors endured.  One book that I can specifically recommend is The War Against the Jews: 1933-1945 by Lucy S. Dawidowicz.
